iPhone 8 Likely to Get New Copper Colour

As the countdown to the eventual unveiling of the OLED iPhone gets closer, new dummy units based on the latest leaks continue to emerge. Ben Miller had posted images of a dummy unit of the new iPhone 8 with a gold/bronze/copper colour, while Benjamin Geskin also suggested same colour themes. However, KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims that the iPhone 8 would be launched in September 2017 in three colours: gold, black and silver. This is markedly different from the iPhone 7 that came in six colour variants: black, silver, rose gold, gold, jet black and red. This reduction in colour variety may be due to a decision to scale down production. According to Kuo, even if production is scaled up, not more than 4 million units would be ready by the end of this quarter.
